Blogger Buddies vs. Facebook Friends: The Armageddon

I finally bit the social networking bullet and joined Facebook. Is having Facebook Friends cooler than having Blogger Buddies? The world may never know.

If you'd like to test that theory, and you have a Facebook account, and you're currently one of my Blogger Buddies, and you have $19.95 payable by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or money order, please search my full name and make me your friend.

My goal is to make people think I know a lot of people. That and to find others interested in Don Delillo, Buddhism, and The Beatles.

Holler front.

For me Facebook and Blogger serve my two different fan bases.

Even though I never update my own Facebook, I do check in every once and a while to see what is going on with other people.

On a side note I know that Facebook has gone mainstream when my aunts and uncles get on it.

Some of my blogger buddies are now my Facebook buddies, and for a while I was uploading my blog onto my Facebook notes app, but I stopped doing that once I got more of my work/local friends on my page. It seemed a little too close for comfort. At any rate, Facebook lets me check in with more people I already know and want to stay in touch with, while my blog has introduced to me to people I don't already know. I feel like I have more in common with my blogger buddies because we're friends based on our writing rather than the fact that we went to high school together.

All that being said, feel free to add me on Facebook. You can find me using my email: katiecamarena@yahoo.com.

All my facebook friends were bloggers until my family found me.
